The ceremony was graced by high-profile guests, including the Minister of Sports and Arts, Hon. Jacob Kelebeng, veteran football administrator Ashford Mamelodi,former BFA President Maclean Letshwiti, prominent businessman Rashid Chopdat, as well as former national team players Naphtally โScaraโ Kebalepile, Mmoni States Segopolo, and Tebogo โPanapanaโ Mothusi.
Delivering the keynote address, Hon. Kelebeng expressed his heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the initiative. He applauded FUB and All Kasi for their continued efforts in honoring sporting legends and emphasized the importance of recognizing excellence across all sporting disciplines. The Minister further pledged his commitment to supporting similar initiatives through his ministry, calling on other sports codes to emulate the unity and purpose displayed by the football fraternity.
The man of the moment, Itumeleng Duiker, was visibly moved. Overcome with emotion, he expressed his sincere appreciation for the recognition, thanking the All Kasi brand and FUB for celebrating his contribution to Botswana football.
