CBA IMPROVES RELATIONS
Asked about the CBA, FUB president Onalethata Tshekiso said “we hope to develop professional football by reviewing and, where necessary and appropriate, reforming regulatory mechanisms to safeguard the integrity of the sport and its core participants”.
For his part, BFA president Maclean Letshwiti said his association commits to engage with FUB prior to implementing any changes that may affect professional players’ employment conditions.
“We will work with FUB with the objective of further enhancing the union’s capacity to effectively service and represent professional footballers in accordance with this agreement and ensure that the views of professional players are represented in the decision-making process of football,” he said.
